ABOUT

Sarah Victoria Heinrich is a German journalist who is currently working towards her first state examination in law, while also pursuing a master’s degree in European anthropology.

She previously completed two bachelor’s degrees concurrently: one in Philosophy, with concentrations in political theory and philosophy of mind, and another in European Ethnology and Linguistics with a focus on migration and European society.

During her studies, she was a scholarship holder of the Hanns Seidel Foundation and studied abroad in Paris, Rome, London, and Honduras. Alongside her academic work, she has worked in journalism for including the Süddeutsche Zeitung, SWR Kultur, Deutschlandfunk, and BBC World, as well as in social law research at the Max Planck Institute.

Her essays explore questions of law, philosophy, society, and Europe — not in search of definitive answers, but in the hope of asking better questions.
